On a recent fall morning, the owners and groomers from The Groomery in San Jose, met with me at my favorite park for a large scale photo session. 12 people, 13 dogs and 1 cat. We’d been talking about doing this for awhile and were able to coordinate so everyone was able to be part of this event. Weather was good, no rain, nice temps.
While I was off photographing, the rest of the pack enjoyed a breakfast tailgate in the parking lot. Most of them have been working together for many years and have great relationships.
After 3+ hours, I was worn out. Each session was about 15 minutes and to get a good variety of backgrounds we moved from place to place in the park. Apple watch on my wrist. 4000+ steps – thought I’d walked more but reality is we move to a spot in the park and then I’m kneeling, sitting and laying down taking the show.
Wall display just went up with 12 10×15 metal prints. Almost everyone who sees my metal print samples, ends up choosing metal.
In this first photo, the brown wiener dog reminds me of my first doxi Davina.
